Every test on this site measures your performance in real time, charts your speed over the run, and once you create a free account saves your personal best to a public leaderboard so you can track your progress and compare yourself against other players.

Wasim Shah is the developer behind Spacebar CPS Test. A longtime Minecraft PvP and rhythm game player, he built this site after getting frustrated with laggy, ad-cluttered click testers that reported different scores on every run.

Every test on this site is timed with high-precision browser APIs to keep results accurate across keyboards and devices. He has personally tested a range of mechanical and membrane keyboards to understand how switch type, debounce time, and actuation force affect real-world CPS and he still hasn’t cracked 16 CPS without butterfly clicking. When he’s not tweaking the leaderboard, he’s testing new switches or losing his own high scores to visitors.
